How World Ad Wars Works
The entire globe is a competitive ad board. Claim hexagonal space, post an image or a solid color, defend your territory, and compete in real time on a live 3D globe.
1. Buy Ad Coins
Ad Coins are the only currency on the platform. Use them to purchase ad space and to reclaim territory when someone tries to take it from you.
2. Claim Ad Space
Enter Buy mode on the live 3D globe and select any connected group of hexagonal ad spaces. You can pick single ad spaces or draw larger continuous areas. Selections must stay connected.
- •Tap to select individual ad spaces on a phone. Click on desktop.
- •Hold Spacebar (desktop) or use Draw Rectangle (phone) to claim a larger region
- •Base cost starts at 1 Ad Coin per empty ad space
- •Taking over an existing ad costs the previous price paid + 1 Ad Coin
- •Maximum ~25,000 ad spaces per post
3. Customize Your Ad
Once you have claimed space you can either upload a still photo or paint the ad spaces directly. Fine-tune scale, rotation, position and color, then preview the exact result on the live globe before posting.
Photo
Choose a still JPEG or PNG, position it over your selected space, adjust color, and bake it into the asset that stays locked to the globe. Live Photos and video are not supported.
Paint
Paint ad spaces with continuous strokes, fill the whole selection with one color, and use undo. Best for bold solid-color statements.
4. Defend & Compete
Ownership is competitive. Any player can take over existing ad spaces by paying the previous price plus one Ad Coin. When your ad space is taken you receive an immediate notification and can reclaim it from My Ad Spaces.
Takeovers
Other users can purchase over your ad spaces. You are notified in real time and can respond from My Ad Spaces.
Defense Pool
Move Ad Coins into your Defense Pool from My Ad Spaces. You can withdraw back to your wallet anytime. Auto-Defend spends from the Defense Pool.
Auto-Defend
Turn Auto-Defend on per campaign (or set a default for new ads). When someone takes your ad spaces, the Defense Pool can reclaim them automatically if it has enough balance.
Manual Defend
Reclaim lost ad spaces anytime from My Ad Spaces. Manual Defend spends from your Ad Coins wallet only (not the Defense Pool). Successfully defended ad spaces are restored with your original creative intact.
5. How Long Ads Stay Up
Each campaign stays on the globe for up to 30 days from the moment you post (photo or paint).
- •Post on day 1 or day 28 — you still get a full 30-day window from your post time
- •If some ad spaces are taken over, those ad spaces change hands; the rest of your campaign can remain until expiry
- •You can delete your own campaign early from My Ad Spaces
